Based on Peter Benchley’s novel of the same name, Jaws transports audiences to Amity Island, a resort town shaken by the terrifying presence of a man-eating great white shark. Determined to halt the animal’s violent spree, a local sheriff, a marine biologist, and an old seafarer, band together to hunt down the sea creature.
