Come celebrate local Jazz Legend Roger Humphries at James Street Gastropub & Speakeasy as they proclaim January 20th to be Roger Humphries Day. Joining Mr. Humphries on stage will be Max Leake, Tony Campbell, Dwayne Dolphin, Ron Horton, Delano “Volcano” Choy Jr., Don Aliquo Jr., Lou Stellute, Howie Alexander, Paul Thompson, George Heid III, Miles Jackson, Yoko Suzuki and many more. The evening will feature music from American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger Horace Silver.
Roger Humphries is rated by critics as one of the most exciting drummers in the business. He has provided the rhythmic beat for such greats as Ray Charles, Horace Silver, Richard “Groove” Holmes, Stanley Turrentine and many more!
