Simons Observatory: The Next Great Microwave Telescopes

Visit the Allegheny Observatory on Friday, November 16 to hear the lecture, “Simons Observatory: The Next Great Microwave Telescopes.” This lecture will be given by Arthur Kosowsky, from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh.

This event is part of the 2018 Public Lecture Series that is offered at the Allegheny Observatory every third Friday of the month. The night starts at 7:00 pm with light refreshments. The lecture begins at 7:30 pm and lasts approximately one hour. After the lecture, there will be a tour of the building.

Allegheny Observatory is located at 159 Riverview Avenue in Riverview Park.
