City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located in our neighborhood at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. It is a home for diverse voices from around the globe – a place where Pittsburgh meets the world and the world meets Pittsburgh. Spotlight celebrates six unique voices and stories that show that artistic spirit is alive and thriving in Pittsburgh. Enjoy short digital performances by Julianne Avolio, Martin Giles, Laurie Klatscher, Treble NLS, LaTrea Rembert, and Bria Walker. Both June 23rd and June 24th feature the same performances. This event is presented in partnership with City Theatre. You can enjoy this performance in person at the Sampsonia Way Tent, located at 318 Sampsonia Way, or live-streamed online via City of Asylum @ Home.
