STEM Block Party Workshop at Carnegie Library – Allegheny

Youth should be equipped with the knowledge and skills to solve tough problems, gather and evaluate evidence, and make sense of information. These are the types of skills that students learn by studying Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math – subjects collectively known as STEM.

Carnegie Library – Allegheny is hosting STEM Imagination Builders: Block Party. During the workshop, participants can imagine, design, and construct! Building with blocks strengthens STEM abilities. Children will have fun as they develop critical thinking, teamwork, and motor and communication skills.

STEM Imagination Bulders: Block Party will be held on Saturday, March 11, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Carnegie Library – Allegheny. For more information, email allegheny@carnegielibrary.org or call 412-237-1890. This workshop is recommended for children 3-5 years and their caregivers.
