City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. It promises to be a hub for Pittsburgh’s readers and writers, jazz and small-scale music and performance, and artistic experimentation. It is a home for diverse voices from around the globe – a place where Pittsburgh meets the world and the world meets Pittsburgh. Enjoy an evening of original jazz with vocalist Tania Grubbs. I AM: Volume 6, Music will be a culmination of various visual and artistic elements. The 6th of the I AM series, created by vocalist/ Producer/Composer Tania Grubbs will explore MUSIC through an auditory, visual, and kinesthetic presentation. I AM is a series of concerts filled with original music along with interesting stories and researched facts. All performances include video footage, photography, and narration.
