Your child can have fun discovering and learning about tons of science topics at one of the Science Workshops being held at Carnegie Science Center! Crazy Circuits
February 25 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Experiment with electricity and follow the path it takes as you create unique projects with circuits! Find out how to use Play-Doh, Legos, and even paper to conduct a current, and add some lights to your very own creation. For ages 8 to 12.

Get Animated
February 25 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Explore stop-motion animation techniques and become a storyteller! Use Legos, Claymation, or even create your own characters to create a short video. For ages 8 to 12.

Inventing with littleBits™
March 4 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Create inventions large and small! Use littleBits™ electronic building blocks to invent, design, and build anything you can imagine. Construct projects such as a working flashlight, an animatronic animal, or a light‑sensitive fan. For ages 7 to 10.

Coding with Arduino
March 4 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Combine coding, engineering, and innovation as you use littleBits™ Arduino Kits to make awesome inventions. You’ll use easy to use color-coded electronic components and simple code to customize your creation! For ages 10 to 14.

Lego Mindstorms Space Challenge
March 18 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Take the space challenge as you use LEGO Education’s EV3 technology to program a Mars rover to carry out real-world space missions! Hone your skills on the practice mat, then head to the Martian landscape to collect samples, establish communication, and launch the space shuttle! For ages 8 to 12.

Robot Roundup
March 18 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Discover how robots sense, think, and act as you get hands on with a fun variety of educational robots. Use color to program Ozobots™, snap together Cubelets, and navigate Sphero through an obstacle course. For ages 7 to 10.
