Teutonia Männerchor Holds First Public Maifest

Teutonia Männerchor will be holding their First Annual Maifest – to be open to the public! This fest celebrates the coming of May, when the weather turns nice and the trees and flowers start to bloom! The big tent will be up, the booths for food and drink will be operating, and music will be played throughout!

Maifest is the traditional German celebration of the arrival of spring. Maifest is still celebrated throughout Germany with the maibaum (maypole) decorated to show off the history and crafts of the town. Maifest, similar to Oktoberfest, has now become a popular celebration throughout the world.

Maifest will be held in the parking lot of Teutonia Männerchor on Friday May 5 from 5:00 to 11:00 pm, Saturday May 6 from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, and Sunday May 7 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. For more details, visit the Teutonia Männerchor Maifest event page. Teutonia Männerchor is located at 857 Phineas Street in East Allegheny / Spring Garden.
