The Hot Club Jazz Featuring Louis Armstrong
Thursday, March 11 from 8:15 to 9:15 pm
There is much, Much, MUCH more to Louis Armstrong than you’ve ever imagined. The Hot Club Jazz listening sessions share jazz on 78rpm records – the oldest and rarest records that capture truly high quality sound. It’s like a book club for jazz heads. The goal of these listening sessions is to make the beauty of classic jazz recordings available to all, to hear lesser known work from great musicians, and to share your thoughts with fellow listeners in real time. The March session celebrates the world of Louis Armstrong, the creator of swing.
