MCG Jazz is starting off its new Streaming Concert Series with the Freddy Cole 85th Birthday Bash! Recorded live on the MCG Stage in October 2016, you can enjoy Freddy Cole and his working band at the time, with special guests Joel Frahm on saxophone and vocalist Nnenna Freelon. This concert was a classic Freddy performance where he went on stage and played tunes as they came to him, weaving a magical evening of music.

Freddy Cole’s Birthday Bash is free and will be held virtually on Friday, February 12 at 7:00 pm. The concert will be available to stream until Thursday, February 25.
