City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. It is a hub for Pittsburgh’s readers and writers, jazz and small-scale music and performance, and artistic experimentation. It is a home for diverse voices from around the globe – a place where Pittsburgh meets the world and the world meets Pittsburgh. Tim Stevens /Leonard Johnson Project

Come to Alphabet City for an evening of jazz with the Tim Stevens / Leonard Johnson Project. Tim Stevens has appeared in numerous clubs and concerts throughout metropolitan Pittsburgh. Along with the “Got to be Free” album and the “Thinking; About Love” album, Tim has released ten singles since 1972 to the critical acclaim of area writers and radio executives. Featured musicians for the evening are Tim Stevens on vocals, Leonard Johnson III on piano, Albert “Mouchie” Weir on bass, and Vince Taglieri on drums.
