As part of the National Week of Non-Violence, a YouthSpeak Town Hall Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 15, at 10:00 am at the Northside Campus of Community College of Allegheny County located at 808 Ridge Avenue. This public event will feature Pittsburgh Police Chief Cameron McLay, other community leaders, and youth panelists who will offer their perspectives on community violence and possible solutions. Topics include:
- What causes violence in homes and communities?
- How can we change the culture of violence in Pittsburgh?
- What are youth ideas about getting along with others?
