Pittsburgh Poetry Collective & Steel City Slam Present WOMXN 412

City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. It is a hub for Pittsburgh’s readers and writers, jazz and small-scale music and performance, and artistic experimentation. It is a home for diverse voices from around the globe – a place where Pittsburgh meets the world and the world meets Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Poetry Collective and the Steel City Slam are proud to present their annual “no dude poets” slam! This slam welcomes the city’s best AFAB, female identified, or gender non-conforming individuals age 18+. Come listen to their stories. Come listen to their truths. Come listen and celebrate! WOMXN 412 will be a night of creativity, competition, and community as some of the Steel City’s very best performance poets go in for a chance at international notoriety! Tickets can be purchased online.
