Zen Studies Series: Kotoku Ray Crivello: First Session
Saturday, July 8 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Join Zen Priest Kotoku Ray Crivello for Practicing the Buddha Way. This first session will focus on the principals of Buddha’s teaching in everyday life and Buddhist Foundational Practices in Zen:

  • Core Teaching
  • The Four Noble Truths
  • The Eightfold Path

Zen Studies Series: Kotoku Ray Crivello: Second Session
Saturday, August 19 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
This second session will focus on:

  • The Paramitas or Perfections
  • The Four Abodes
  • The Fundamentals of Mindfulness and Meditation

Currently Kotoku is working under the auspices of Kojin-an Zendo to build a new Soto Zen international training monastery in Northern California for Western Zen Priests. After each session, time for discussion and Zazen meditation will be included. No advanced knowledge necessary.

COA is hosting these seminars. Two seminar classes $25 each or $40 for both *Suggested Donation* through Zen Center of Pittsburgh. Seating is limited!
