Children Learn About Artists During Artful Stories at the Library

During Artful Stories, children will create works of art in the style of a great artist! Bring your child to the Woods Run Carnegie Library to learn about artists and their work – through books, discussions, and a hands-on activity. Participants will gain a greater understanding of the creative process, explore a specific art medium, and learn related vocabulary.

Artful Stories will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 am on Tuesdays, February 6, 13, 20, and 27 at the Woods Run Carnegie Library, located at 1201 Woods Run Avenue. During the sessions, children will use a variety of art supplies, including paint. This program is recommended for children age 2-5 years and their caregivers. For more information, visit the Artful Stories event page, call 412.761.3730, or email woodsrun@carnegielibrary.org.
