Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s CivicCLP initiative has partnered with The Art of Democracy to create opportunities for informed and inclusive engagement online. Working together, the aim is to amplify the voices of local people in ways that will energize voter participation in the upcoming election. The Let’s Talk About… series provides an opportunity for you to join a national discussion on the critical issues facing our nation, while you learn from people with perspectives and experiences that may differ from your own.
The first discussion of the Let’s Talk About… series will focus on How Should We Rebuild Our Economy? Two dates and options are available:
- Option #1: Wednesday, October 21 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm will be a Video-Based Discussion
- Option #2: Saturday, October 24 from 10:00 to 11:30 am will be a Text-Based Discussion
