21+ Night: H2Oh! Why Our Rivers Matter

During their next 21+ Night, Carnegie Science Center invites you to join them in celebrating their newest permanent exhibit, H2Oh! Experience kinetic water-driven motion, and discover the relations between water, land, and habitat. Learn about fluid dynamics and our rivers. Discover animals from our region that rely on our watersheds. Use a thermal camera to explore the three rivers, make waves, engineer a pipe system, “freeze” colliding water droplets in mid-air and study their movement, explore river data in real time, and view life on a microscopic level while learning how the food chain begins. Enjoy additional hands-on activities while thinking about the big picture – how do everyday decisions impact water supply and the environment?

As always, 21+ Night features cash bars and snacks available for purchase. Local group Gum Band will perform in the Robot Lounge.

21+ Night: H2OH! Why Our Rivers Matter will be held on Friday, March 13, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Carnegie Science Center. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door the evening of the event.
