5th Annual Bike-tism at Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church

Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church will be holding its 5th annual Bike-tism event. Bring out your cycles of all vintages, conditions, and purposes – not to mention psi and sprocket size. Stand around and say some special words, and sprinkle special water on them (or at least in their general direction), in a ritual blessing of the bikes.

Don’t miss this special event! The Bike-tism will follow Allegheny UU Church’s 10:30 am Earth Day worship service which will include songs, stories, and prayers for the earth. After the Bike-tism, you are invited to join a kid-friendly ride around Allegheny Commons Park or take a longer ride on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail.

Bike-tism will be held on Sunday April 24, at 11:45 am at Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church, located at the corner of West North Avenue and Resaca Place. The Bike-tism will be held outside, so dress appropriately – and please wear a helmet. For more information, visit Allegheny UU Church’s Bike-tism event page.
