Allegheny City Society Hosts ‘A View From the Commons’ Tour

To help you explore Allegheny City neighborhoods and development, Allegheny City Society is offering a new series of free walking tours that will explore the built environment surrounding Allegheny Commons, and how the City of Allegheny and the Northside grew, developed, and changed through time. The key themes of the series are History, Architecture, Neighborhood Development, Ethnicity, Community, and Leadership.

The next walking tour of the series will focus on The Promenade of Allegheny Commons Park, and will take place on Tuesday, July 27, starting at 6:30 pm. Participants should meet at the Northeast Fountain, located at the corner of Cedar and West North Avenues.
