Allegheny Observatory Lecture: Fishing for Black Holes

Visit the Allegheny Observatory on Friday, February 21 to hear the lecture, “Fishing for Black Holes with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.” This lecture will be given by Professor Carlos Badenes, from the Physics and Astronomy Department of the University of Pittsburgh.

This event is part of the 2020 Public Lecture Series that is offered at the Allegheny Observatory every third Friday of the month. The night starts at 7:00 pm with light refreshments. The lecture begins at 7:30 pm and lasts approximately one hour. After the lecture, there will be a tour of the building.

Allegheny Observatory is located at 159 Riverview Avenue in Riverview Park.
