City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. Enjoy an evening of jazz with singer Tania Grubbs in a concert entitled DUOS/TRIOS, an eclectic mix of tunes done with interesting or unique arrangements. You will most likely hear Tania singing with her own jazz quartet, The Tania Grubbs Quartet, featuring husband, bassist-Jeff Grubbs. She is the Co-Music Director at the Fairmont Pittsburgh, helping to oversee Jazz at Andys (a 4 night per week series), as well as the Music Director for The Mansions on Fifth Hotel; Pittsburgh’s first boutique hotel.
