Between Poetry and Performance: Writing to Find Inspiration with Paloma Sierra
Saturday, March 20 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm
When writing a play in verse, what comes first: the poems or the play? In this workshop led by Puerto Rican writer, translator, educator, and curator, Paloma Sierra, participants will hear strategies to write and revise their next poetic play. Outlines and poetic forms will be used to write two short scenes. You can then share your work with others. Writers from all experience levels are welcome. Bring a pen and paper, ideas, and a desire to uncover ideas as you write! Space for this workshop is limited.
