Get Ready for Block Party #4 in Allegheny City Central!
The Block Party, a project of One Northside Pittsburgh in partnership with The Buhl Foundation, is excited to announce the fourth of five Block Parties in 2016 will take place in Allegheny City Central. The Block Party is a series of free and open mini-arts festivals that will call attention to, and celebrate, the valuable resources and local identities of the Northside neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. In addition to live musical performances by Working Breed, and Two Tall Twins, this free festival will feature:
- A mobile stage from Flyspace Productions
- Stories about the neighborhood collected onsite by The Saturday Light Brigade
- Hands-on activities with Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse
- Local visual art and screen-printing with AIR: Artists Image Resource
- Hands on activities with Mattress Factory – Museum of Contemporary Art
- The Storymobile from Reading is FUNdamental Pittsburgh

- Games from City of Play
- Activities with the Carnegie Science Center
The Block Party #4 will be held, rain or shine, on Sunday, August 28, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in Buhl Community Park, located in front of the Children’s Museum. For more information, visit The Block Party #4 event page. This event is open to the public.
