Join the National Aviary’s live online series, Brushes & Birds, to create your own masterpiece! Pick up a paint brush and learn how to paint a portrait via Zoom under the direction of local artist Maria DeSimone Prascak of Maria’s Ideas.

The next session of Brushes & Birds will be held virtually on Saturday, January 16 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Each session features a behind-the-scenes look into a specific animal species to help inspire your portrait. This month, you will be learning how to paint a Victoria Crowned Pigeon.
