In celebration of Read Across America Day, Children’s Museum will be hosting a special reading of Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar by former Pittsburgh Steeler Franco Harris. Read Across America Day is Monday, March 2, and the Children’s Museum is celebrating early!
Read Across America Day is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.
The Children’s Museum’s Read Across America Day event with Franco Harris will take place on Sunday, March 1, from 2:00 until 2:30 pm.
