Children’s Museum Opening Weekend: Native Voices

Native Voices is a new exhibition coming to the Children’s Museum. Visitors can explore the lives of five Native American tribes in New England through hands-on exploration including artifacts, photos, music, and many activities. Learn how these resilient cultures carefully balance traditional practice with life in the modern world. Members of the Passamaquoddy and Penobscot of Maine, the Narragansett of Rhode Island, and the Aquinnah Wampanoag and Mashpee Wampanoag of Massachusetts take you beyond traditional tales and into their worlds. Experience their Native American traditions and activities common to each season. The Native Voices Exhibit will be at Children’s Museum from September 22, 2018 until January 6, 2019.

The Opening Weekend of Native Voices will be held on Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm in the Children’s Museum Theater. For more information, visit the Opening Weekend: Native Voices event page. All activities are included with the price of admission.
