Community Appreciation Night at Alphabet City

You Are Invited to a Community Appreciation Night at Alphabet City

City of Asylum @ Alphabet City is opening its doors on Saturday, January 14, at 7:00 pm!  To celebrate, City of Asylum is honoring one of our favorite neighbors, Randy Gilson of Randyland, with the free screening of the film Pursuing Happiness – and you are invited!

Pursuing Happiness is a journey by two film-makers who traveled the country in search of the happiest people in America, trying to discover the secrets to living a truly happy life. One of the people they found on their journey was our own Randy Gilson. Tickets to the movie are free. For everyone who attends, City of Asylum is donating $10 to Randyland. The movie starts at 7:00 pm.

Adding to the celebration, you will be able to enjoy HALF-PRICE DINNERS at Alphabet City’s new restaurant – Casellula @ Alphabet City – before or after the movie on January 14. Come alone or bring friends, it’s half price for everyone. This is the first night that the restaurant is open to the public, and City of Asylum wants it to be for the community and their neighbors. Email Amanda at amanda@casellulapgh.com to make dinner reservations for January 14. Use the code “Community Night” to get half-price dinner for your group. Please help to make this a great celebration for City of Asylum, for Randy and Randyland, and for our community. Henry, Diane, Silvia and all the staff at City of Asylum hope you can make it!
