Do you enjoy singing and love meeting people from other cultures? A unique choral group is looking for members right here in our neighborhood! Coro Latinoamericano is a choral group with a professional music director, Maestra Adrea Araoz, that practices at Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church on West North Avenue. The group is made up of volunteer, dues-paying chorus members whose mission is to build bridges between the cultures of the Americas through song. You don’t need to speak Spanish or read music to join. You just need to love to sing. Find more details on the Coro Latinoamericano website.
In addition, if you have or know of children who love to sing, there is also a Chorito children’s chorus that meets on Sundays just before the adult group.
If you need more information, or would like to join, you can email the Executive Director, Kenya Dworkin or call 412-345-1047.
