Deadline: Pittsburgh’s 2022 Capital Budget Survey

City of Pittsburgh Seeks Public Input for 2022 Budgets

The Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget is seeking public input on the 2022 City of Pittsburgh Capital and Operating Budgets. All feedback, survey results, and comments from the 2022 Budget Engagements will be reported to appropriate City of Pittsburgh Department Directors, the Mayor’s Office, and City Council.

To provide your input, you are asked to complete two online surveys for the Capital Budget and the Operating Budget. These surveys help to determine what the City invests in. You can find the surveys on the 2022 City of Pittsburgh Budgets webpage.

  • Capital Budget Survey: The Capital Budget funds projects that are used to design, build, restore, retain, or purchase City-owned assets, have a minimum value of $50,000, and have a minimum useful life of five years.
Complete the Capital Budget Survey by Sunday, June 20, 2021.
  • Operating Budget Survey: The operating budget funds expenditures that pay for most day-to-day governmental activities.
Complete the Operating Budget Survey by Sunday, July 11, 2021.
