Create a Special Father’s Day Gift at Children’s Museum
Your children can create a one-of-a-kind gift for dad, grandpa, uncle, or any special man in their life. Bring your child to the Children’s Museum and stop by the Saturday Light Brigade to create a special Father’s Day CD Card or VoicePrint. All proceeds benefit SLB programs for youth and families. No appointment is necessary, Recording and VoicePrint sessions are on a first come, first served basis.
Father’s Day CD Cards
Monday through Saturday from June 4 to June 18 – 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Saturday Light Brigade staff will conduct an interview with your child about that special person and record it on a CD that can be decorated, affixed to a special card, and brought home that day. They can also record a special song or poem that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Father’s Day VoicePrints
Sundays, June 5, 12, and 19 – 12:00 to 4:00 pm
Have your children say and display “I love you” by making a VoicePrint featuring a waveform depicting the unique sound of each voice that can be decorated, framed and brought home that day.
