Free Puppet Show Helps Troy Hill Combat Litter

Gather up the kids and head to Troy Hill for a free Puppet Show! As part of the Troy Hill Combat Litter Program, Troy Hill Citizens. Inc. is hosting this free event for children to help them understand the importance of litter cleanup and recycling.

Troy Hill Combat Litter, a Quality of Place project for Troy Hill has the core purpose of litter cleanup. Additionally, the program seeks to educate residents on how to proactively stop litter problems, and learn about the benefits of recycling. Early education about recycling will set the tone for the next generation of Northside residents. Combat Litter was funded by The Sprout Fund “Neighbor to Neighbor grants.”

The Puppet Show will be held on Saturday, February 11 at Provident Charter School, located at 1400 Troy Hill Road. Doors open at 1:45 pm, and the show will be from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The first 25 children will receive a gift. For more information, visit the Free Puppet Show event page.
