Every year, Light of Life brings Halloween to a parking lot where kids go from car to car and get candy. Light of Life utilizes this event as an effort to give a safe alternative to trick-or-treating for the children of the Northside, and to bring light to a night that is usually seen as otherwise.
Light of Life’s Trunk or Treat will be held on Tuesday, October 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in The Pittsburgh Project parking lot, located at 2801 North Charles Street. If you want to get involved, you can decorate your car, dress up, and pass out candy! Setup time is from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. If you can’t participate that night, think about donating candy, All candy can be dropped off at 913 Western Avenue, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
