Allegheny City Society is hosting a Lecture Series at Carnegie Library – Allegheny. This annual lecture series covers a wide variety of topics with interest in Allegheny City and Pittsburgh’s North Side.
Beginning the series this year will be a fascinating lecture and presentation by James Kastner on the History of Movie Theaters of the North Side. Did you know that our neighborhood had 30 theaters by the 1940s? Come learn where they were and learn about the interesting story of the moving picture business on the North Side.
The lecture will be held at Carnegie Library – Allegheny on Monday, March 23 at 6:45 pm. For more information, contact David McMunn by calling 412-657-8486.
