Clean out the closets, cabinets and garden shed and join Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) at the first Household Chemical Collection event of the year. On Saturday, May 7, residents can safely dispose of common household chemicals such as cleaners, paints, batteries, automotive fluids, pesticides and much more at North Park.
Household Chemical Wastes are waste products produced in our homes that are hazardous in nature, but are not regulated as hazardous waste under federal and state laws. You can identify a product as hazardous by words such as CAUTION, WARNING, POISON, or FLAMMABLE on the label.
The Household Chemical Collection Event will be held rain or shine on Saturday, May 7, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the North Park Swimming Pool. For more information, visit the PRC Household Chemical Collection webpage or view the North Park Chemical Collection Flyer.
