Huszar plans to bring the outdoor taste of Hungary to the Northside! Their first traditional Hungarian Bacon Roast (Szalona Sutes) will feature guests roasting their delicious slab-bacon over open fire pits, which is then served on fresh sourdough bread with peppers, onions, and tomatoes. A shot of brandy (Palinka), two beers, specialty dessert, and live entertainment round out the afternoon’s fun and camaraderie.
The Hungarian Bacon Roast Festival will be held at Huszar (formerly The Recovery Room) in the parking lot (weather-permitting), on Saturday, April 30, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Space is limited and reservations are required. Call 412-322-8795 to reserve your place with family and fiends – old and new – around the fire pit!
