While their products may use the same grapes, the wines of France and California have very distinctive styles and flavors. At the June Al Fresco Wine Tasting at The Priory, you will compare and contrast four wines from Central and Northern California and four from France which demonstrate the similarities, and the differences, of the wines of these regions.
The June Al Fresco Wine Tasting will take place on Thursday, June 25 at 6:30 pm at The Priory, located at 614 Pressley Street in neighboring Deutschtown. Host of the night will be Lee Kuehn, of Vintage Imports. The theme for the night will be France vs. California.
Weather permitting, the wine tasting will take place in the Priory’s garden courtyard. Wines are accompanied by culinary creations by executive chefs Pete Phillipy and Mike Henney, along with a display of imported cheeses and fruit. Entertainment will be provided by Clinton Clegg. RSVP to Gene Lucente at gene@thepriory.com.
