Laser Cutting 101: FabLab Workshop at Carnegie Science Center 

Has your child ever wanted to experiment with a 3D printer? Would they want to learn how to use a laser cutter? Whether they are looking to design and build a prototype from scratch, or just want to try out some new technology, FabLab at Carnegie Science Center is the place to be! Fab Lab offers several workshops with various themes and topics. 

Laser Cutting 101
Friday, July 28 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm
In this introductory workshop, participants will learn to use the 40W laser at Fab Lab to safely cut and etch their own designs! This workshop is open to ages 8 and up. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult who also registers for the workshop. This class is required in order to use the laser cutter during any FabLab Open Workshop.
