On Saturday, December 6, experience a holiday tradition by candlelight, surrounded by Tiffany masterpieces at the restored Calvary United Methodist Church in neighboring Allegheny West.
George Frideric Handel’s beloved oratorio returns for a fourth Messiah Sing-Along Concert. Audience members are invited to sing-along on choruses with the Calvary Renewal Choir. Messiah features a chamber orchestra, a chorus of 50 singers, and four soloists.
The Messiah Sing-Along Concert will begin at 4:00 pm. This concert is for all ages. Children 12 and under are admitted at no charge and will receive an activity packet with information on music and Messiah. Audience members are also asked to bring one-pound non-perishable food items for the Northside Food Pantry.
