Mother’s Day CD Cards
Saturday, April 30 to Saturday, May 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Your children can create a one-of-a-kind gift for mom, grandma, aunt or any special woman in their life. Saturday Light Brigade staff will conduct an interview with your child about that special person and record it on a CD that can be decorated, affixed to a special card, and brought home that day. Kids and adults can record alone or together, and can also record a special song or poem that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Mother’s Day VoicePrints
Sunday, May 1 and Sunday, May 8 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Bring your children to the Saturday Light Brigade Radio Studios to say and display “I love you” by making a VoicePrint. The VoicePrint features a waveform depicting the unique sound of your child’s voice that they can decorate, frame and take home. No appointment is necessary, but come early to ensure a spot!
Mother’s Day CD Cards and Mother’s Day VoicePrints will be made in the Saturday Light Brigade Radio Studio located in the Children’s Museum Theater. Proceeds benefit SLB programs for youth and families. CD or VoicePrint sessions are on a first come, first served basis.
