Move Like a Bubble with SlowDanger

Come to the Children’s Museum and join SlowDanger for a Movement Workshop and Performance. Explore moving like a BUBBLE for Bubble Machine #5’s closing weekend. Bubble Machine # 5 is a giant machine that creates and launches one or several giant bubbles that move fluidly in space and change shape. This installation is by Nicholas Hanna who is one of the museum’s Tough Art exhibitors.

SlowDanger, former F.I.N.E. Artists, is a multidisciplinary performance duo based in Pittsburgh. Composed of Taylor Knight and Anna Thompson, they use performance as ritual practice to delve into patterns of the circular rhythm of life. This weekend they will explore the cyclic movement patterns and sounds of Bubble Machine #5.

The Movement Workshops with SlowDanger will be held from 1:00 to 1:30 pm and 3:00 to 3:30 pm on both Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22 at the Children’s Museum. For more information, visit the Movement Workshop event page.
