Join Dr. Pilar Fish, the National Aviary’s Senior Director of Zoological Advancement and Avian Medicine, for a glimpse behind the scenes in the Aviary’s Teaching Hospital, a loving home for older birds and birds with special needs. Get to know one of the resident birds and their personal story, take a tour of the bird’s specially designed habitat, and learn how Dr. Fish takes x-rays, applies bandages, and gives treatments to help the birds in her care thrive.
