The Office of Public Art presents a North Side Walking Tour: Stained Glass. A guided tour will be given of Calvary United Methodist Church and Emmanuel Episcopal Church in the elegant Allegheny West neighborhood of Pittsburgh’s North Side. The tour will showcase exquisite stained glass windows by Louis Comfort Tiffany, French neo-Gothic architecture, and famed architect H. H. Richardson. Guest speakers include Reverend Larry Homitsky, conservator Kirk Weaver, and Father Don Youse.
The North Side Walking Tour: Stained Glass will be held on Friday, December 18, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. The tour will begin at Calvary United Methodist Church, located at 971 Beech Avenue in neighboring Allegheny West. The tour is open to the public.
