INSTALL: Afternoons @ the Factory Spring Session
Your child can spend Wednesday afternoons hanging out at the Mattress Factory! Participating students work directly with artists to explore themes such as collaboration, tolerance, and spatial experience, all within the context of contemporary art practice. Artists and museum educators provide academic, emotional, and creative support while broadening students’ way of thinking and increasing exposure to adults with diverse backgrounds and careers.
The Mattress Factory’s after-school program is FREE for students, and is endorsed by Pittsburgh Public Schools as an official partner and is recognized as a “Quality Campaign Member” by Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time (APOST).
