Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures Presents Author Lauren Tarshis

Lauren Tarshis is the New York Times Bestselling author of the I Survived series, telling stories of young people and their resilience and strength in the midst of unimaginable disasters and times of turmoil.  Her latest heart pounding entry tells the story of two children who battle the terrifying flames of the California Wildfires of 2018 and, despite the destruction, find hope in the ashes.

The virtual lecture by Lauren Tarshis is free and will take place on Sunday, December 13 at 2:30 pm. The lecture is presented as part of the Words & Pictures program of Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures, Words & Pictures presents acclaimed children’s authors and illustrators to readers of all ages.
