Celebrate Great Local Beer During Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week
Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week (PCBW) is an annual celebration of the great local beer that can be found in the Steel City. PCBW is a collaboration between the breweries, distributors, bottle shops and restaurants that have made a commitment to supporting craft beer in the Pittsburgh region. Beer lovers will be treated to a week of exclusive events all over the Pittsburgh region that will highlight the region’s craft beer culture. During Craft Beer Week, you will be able to attend beer tastings, dine while pairing craft beer with great local food, taste special beers brewed exclusively for Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week, and meet the brewers behind your favorite beers. One special treat of PCBW will be a sleek India Red Lager, Mash Paddle vs. Hipster that was brewed in collaboration by Northside’s Penn Brewery, Allegheny City Brewing, Spring Hill Brewing, and War Streets Brewing.
Several of our Northside/North Shore neighborhood restaurants and bars will be joining in the celebration during the Craft Beer Week by holding several events:
- The Modern – 862 Western Avenue
- Penn Brewery – 800 Vinial Street
- Beer Market – 110 Federal Street
- Jerome Bettis Grill – 393 North Shore Drive
- Rivertown North Shore – 337 North Shore Drive
Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week starts Friday, April 15, and runs through Sunday, April 24. For more information about the locations and the scheduled events, visit the Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week webpage or Facebook page.
