The Pittsburgh Humanities Festival is a project of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and the Humanities Center of Carnegie Mellon University. Concentrating on Smart Talk About Stuff That Matters, the festival is scheduled from Thursday, March 26 to Sunday, March 29. The Festival will take place throughout Pittsburgh’s Cultural District and neighboring locales.
This inaugural Pittsburgh Humanities Festival will feature internationally renowned academics, artists and intellectual innovators offering interviews, intimate conversations, and select performances focused on topics ranging from art, literature and music to science policy and politics.
The Festival features many events that are included in the cost of a Festival Pass. Several Featured Events will be presented for an additional charge.
