Pittsburgh Public Schools: Go Back-to-School with FREE Supplies

Pittsburgh Public Schools is hosting a Back-to-School event where kids can get FREE stuffed back packs, food, hand sanitizers, cloth masks, and more! The Back-to-School event will be held on Monday, August 22 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and families can participate in one of three ways:

  • Drive Through: A family can drive through the Acrisure Stadium’s Gold Lot 1A on the North Shore to pick up stuffed bookbags, food, masks, hand sanitizer, books, and more!
  • In Person: Families who would like to receive a free haircut, hairstyle, and/or manicure are invited to park and visit the FedEx Great Hall at Acrisure Stadium for those amenities. After the hair and nail services, families are invited to pick up stuffed bookbags, food, masks, hand sanitizer, and books.
  • Bus Stop Drop Offs: Beginning at 12:00 pm Noon, families can visit one of 15 bus stops across the city to pick up stuffed book bags while supplies last. The participating Northside Bus Stops are located at:
    • North Avenue and Federal Street
    • California Avenue and Davis Avenue
    • Shadeland Avenue and Woodland Avenue
