Join the Women Writers of Northview Heights for a poetry reading! The Women Writers of Northview Heights is a creative writing collective that meets weekly at the Northview Heights Family Support Center. The women produce poetry and stories regarding life, love, loss, family and the future, through prompts from all artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, collage and photography. Along with readings throughout 2016, it is the group’s hope to produce chapbooks and audio CDs of writings from these distinct and inspirational voices.
Poetry Reading: Women Writers of Northview Heights is free and will be held on Tuesday, June 21 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Alphabet City Tent, located at 318 Sampsonia Way.
