Fourteen Northside residents have become part of the ReClaim Northside Project to transform vacant lots in their neighborhoods into better places. GTECH Strategies call these individuals “Ambassadors.” They are people who care deeply about their community and want to learn how to become leaders and put their ideas into action. From the fall of 2014 to the spring of 2015, the Ambassadors met for classes and workshops to learn about Pittsburgh’s vacant land issue and to think about recreating a vacant lot in ways that benefit their communities. Throughout the spring and summer of 2015, each Ambassador will make their ideas come to life on a vacant lot in their neighborhood.
You are invited to the ReClaim Northside Project Kick-Off. ReClaim Northside Ambassadors will share their projects with neighbors and networks. You can learn about the many ways that you can support these projects and meet neighbors doing great things!
