Science After Dark: Science Sleepover

Experience Carnegie Science Center overnight with a Science After Dark: Science Sleepover. Explore the night sky in the Buhl Planetarium and visit SpacePlace to experience what it would be like to be an astronaut. Design a space rover and then put it to the test. Help a forgetful astronaut find personal belongings in the “Lost in Space” scavenger hunt. You might get to snooze next to R2-D2 or catch some Z’s near a space station. This is sure to be one spectacular, starry night!

All Science Center sleepovers include themed activities, an Omnimax movie, a planetarium or laser show, late-night snack and continental breakfast, free admission to Carnegie Science Center for the day following the sleepover, and so much more. Check-in begins at 6 pm the evening of your sleepover.

The next two Science After Dark: Science Sleepover will be held on Friday, March 20 and on Friday, March 27. You can register online for the Science After Dark: Science Sleepover, or call 412-237-1637.

Reservations are taken up to five days prior to the Sleepover date.
